GALLANT DUNDEE SOLDIER.

Lance-Corporal A. Ross, H.L.I., has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous bravery on the field, carrying wounded through heavy shell fire. Lance-Corporal Ross has seen service at the Dardanelles, Egypt, and was latterly transferred to France, where he gained the decoration.  A brother served in the Canadians, was wounded at Cambrai, and ultimately discharged.  Mrs M’Williams, the gallant lance-corporal’s sister, resides at 36 Hilltown, Dundee.
