ARBROATH SOLDIER’S WIFE’S SAD BEREAVEMENT.

Private Andrew Ross, Royal Scots Fusiliers, was killed in action, on 23rd September.  He is the son of Mr and Mrs Ross, 23 Church Street, and his wife and three sons live in Brechin.  He has a brother, James in the Royal Scots, and he was on leave when the sad news came.  Deceased wife also got news last week that her brother, Private Harry Macdonald, had been killed in action on 27th August.  She lost another brother in April, 1917.
