More about Andrew Williamson
John Williamson was born in Dundee and in 1915 served onboard several ships engaged in coastal and foreign going trade. The Antigua was a small coastal trade vessel engaged in transporting goods between West Hartlepool and London. Before Andrew Williamson joined the ship in January 1916 there was a mass desertion by eleven Able Seamen and Firemen. John Williamson died at sea from an undisclosed illness.
