DUNDEE FOOTBALLER’S DOUBLE HONOUR.

Sergeant Angus Gorrie, R.A.M.C., a well-known Dundee footballer, has been awarded a bar to his Military Medal.  Sergeant Gorrie, who is a son of Mrs Gorrie, Old Baldovan, and late of 9 Hawkhill, Dundee, joined up in October, 1914, and proceeded to France in June of the following year.  He was awarded his Military Medal in September this year for gallantry displayed by him, and information has just been received that he has been awarded a bar.  The Sergeant is well known in Dundee junior football circles, having played back for Osborne.
