Christopher Lyall M.M.   8029   Leinster Regiment

MILITARY MEDAL FOR DUNDEE SOLDIER.

Sergeant C. Lyall, Leinster Regiment, a Dundee man, who has won the Military Medal.  Sergt. Lyall was a reservist, and went to France shortly after the outbreak of war and was wounded in action.  In a letter home he says that the honour was for gallantry on the field and devotion to duty.  Prior to enlistment he was a postman in Dundee, and his wife resides at 22 Barrack Street, Dundee.
