Norman Rennie 4248 Black Watch
FORFAR SOLDIER DIES OF WOUNDS.
In the beginning of the week two Forfar brothers on active service were included in the casualty lists—Private John Rennie of the Highland Cyclists (attached to the Royal Warwicks),being posted as missing and Private Norman Rennie, of the Black Watch, as dangerously wounded. Norman, who was severely injured in the back, is now reported to have succumbed to his wounds.
Deceased was a son of John Rennie, painter, 29 St James’ Road, and was 20 years of age. He was a grocer to trade, and was working in Dundee when he enlisted in March, 1915.
