Robert Leighton   C2/186   Hood Bn Royal Naval Division

WOUNDED AT THE DARDANELLES.

Able Seaman Robert Leighton, 11 Cardean Street, Dundee, was a member of the Hood Battalion, and received a severe gunshot wound in the leg.  Intimation was made known to his relatives yesterday of the fact, and his limb, it was stated, has been amputated.  He was an apprentice fitter in the Wallace Foundry before joining the colours, and is 21 years of age.
