There is no Lt D. Rodger, Royal Engineers listed on either C.W.G.C. or S.D.G.W. he has a medal index card which records that he served with the Royal Navy at Gallipoli as a Chief Petty Officer. This man is listed on the Dundee Absent Voters list of 1918 as 2nd Lt David Roger, 29th (AP) Company, Royal Engineers.
