There is no Thomas Scrimgeour/Scrymgeour 201707, Royal Scots Fusiliers listed on either C.W.G.C. or S.D.G.W. although his photo appears in the Peoples Journal War Supplement, published in 1925 (see attached photo)
This regimental number was allocated to Pte Robert Alexander Ferrier, 201707, 13th Battalion Royal Scots, who died of wounds 01.11.1917. He was born in Montrose and enlisted at Newcastle on Tyne and was the husband of Mary Bootland Ferrier, 22 India St, Montrose.
