ARBROATH MAN KILLED—Mr Robert Thomson, 4 Peddie Street, Dundee, has received official intimation that his son, Private Peter Thomson, Black Watch, in his 21st year, had been killed in action on 15th July.  Private Thomson had been at the front for fully 14 months, and was home on leave at the end of May.  Previous to enlisting in November, 1914, he was employed as a ploughman with Mr Barrie, Templeton, near Arbroath.
