William Galloway Black Watch
SHELL-FIRE CAUSES NASTY INJURY.
Private William Galloway, who now is in hospital at Bristol, was wounded on 13th March by shell fire. He sustained a nasty injury to his right shoulder. Private Galloway is 22 years of age, and his home is at 62 Kemback Street. He enlisted into the 4th Black Watch in September, having formerly been a millworker with Sandeman & Sons. Since his admission to hospital, he has undergone an operation which is understood to have been successful. Pieces of shell had to be extracted from the injured limb.
