More about William Robertson Ramsay

William R Ramsay was born in Dundee and lived at 63 Hawthorne Avenue, Hull. In 1915 he was the First Engineer of the steam cargo ship Marengo which was engaged in the North Atlantic trade. In December 1916, he died at sea from typhoid fever which serving onboard the Marengo as Chief Engineer.
