DUNDEE BOMBARDIER’S DEATH

IN THE DARDANELLES FIGHTING.

Bombardier George Constable, a strapping young Dundee lad, who enlisted in the R.F.A., following the outbreak of war, has died from wounds received in the fighting at the Dardanelles.

The official notification states that Bombardier Constable’s wounds were sustained on the 14th July.  Deceased was 25 years of age.  Previous to the war he was employed as a clerk.  He was attached to the 52d (Lowland) Division, being a member of the 4th Battery 4th Brigade R.F.A.  Bombardier Constable was the eldest son of Mr James Constable, 1 Canning Street.
