Lance-Corporal William Hunt, K.O.S.B., was the youngest son of Mr John Hunt, 5 Ellen Street, Dundee.  He was 30 years of age, and was formerly a postman between Kingennie and Monikie, but prior to enlisting in March, 1916, he was transferred to the General Post Office, Dundee.  He had been sixteen months at the front.

Lance-Corporal William Hunt, King’s Own Scottish Borderers, who has been killed in action, was the youngest son of Mr John Hunt, 5 Ellen Street, Dundee. Lance-Corpl. Hunt, who was 30 years of age, enlisted in March, 1916, and has been in France for 16 months. He was formerly employed as rural postman between Kingennie and Monikie, but prior to joining up was in the General Post Office, Dundee.

FORMER KINGENNIE POSTMAN KILLED.

Mr John Hunt, 5 Ellen Street, Dundee, has received intimation of the death in action of his youngest son, Lance-Corporal William Hunt.

Lance-Corporal Hunt, who was 30 years of age, was previous to the war rural postman from Kingennie to Monikie, but before enlisting was transferred to the General Post Office, Dundee.  He joined up in the K.O.S.B, in March, 1916, and had been sixteen months at the front.
