William Stewart Lyall   Gordon’s

Pte. Wm. Stewart Lyall, son of Mr Alex Lyall, 8 Balmore Street, was formerly in the employment of D. T. Dewar & Co., Ltd., hacklemakers.  He enlisted 12 months ago in the Black Watch, but was transferred to the Gordons.  He had been only six weeks at the front.  His brother John saw active service with the Black Watch, but is now discharged.
