DUNDEE GUNNER’S DEATH FROM WOUNDS.
Intimation has been received that Gunner R. Peebles, of the R.F.A., has died in hospital from wounds received recently in action. Deceased, who was nineteen years of age, was a son of Mr Thomas Peebles, 4 Allan Street, Dundee, and he had been at the front for about six months. Gunner Peebles enlisted after the outbreak of war. He was previously a butcher in the employment of Mr James Duncan, King Street.
