Allan’s brother was Pte George A. Pringle, 28038, 18th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, who was killed in action 16.07.1917.
DUNDEE FAMILY’S SECOND LOSS.
Gunner Allan Pringle, R.F.A., son of Mr John Pringle, 27 Victoria Road, Dundee, who has been missing since 25th July last year, is now presumed to have died of wounds. Gunner Pringle who was 19 years of age, joined the army before he was 16, and had been in France for seven months.
He was previously employed as an apprentice plumber with Mr Alex Young, 168 Perth Road, Dundee. A brother of the deceased, Private George Pringle, H.L.I., was killed last July. Mr Pringle has two sons and one son-in-law still serving.
