There is no Charles Smith M2/076540, Army Service Corps listed on either C.W.G.C. or S.D.G.W, although his picture appears in the Peoples Journal War Supplement, printed in 1925 (see attached image)
Charles was the father of Cpl Charles Smith, 606, 256th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, who was killed in action, 23.06.1916 and Quartermaster Sergeant, Hugh McDonald Smith, 635082, 211th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, who was killed in action, 28.03.1918.
