David Stewart S/20621 Gordon Highlanders
DUNDEE FAMILY’S HEAVY LOSS.
Mr Andrew Stewart, 24 Park Wynd, Dundee, has received intimation that his son, Pte. David Stewart, Gordon Highlanders, who was captured on March 21 last, died from wounds on the 28th of that month. Deceased, who was 19 years of age, was formerly a milk salesman with Carse of Gowrie Dairy Co. Mr Stewart had another son, Sergt. Henry Stewart, Black Watch, who made the supreme sacrifice in July, 1916, while he has still a son serving with the Black Watch in Egypt.

David was the brother of Sgt Henry W. Stewart, 877, 1st Battalion Black Watch, who was killed in action 14.07.1916.
