More about William Nicoll Allardice
William Allardice was the son of Mr George Allardice and Mrs Mary Ann Allardice of 85 Hilltown, Dundee. The steam ship Therese Heymann sailed from Newcastle bound for Italy but disappeared without trace. The sinking was probably caused by a German mine laid off Filey on the Yorkshire coast. William Allardice is named on the Tower Hill Memorial in London.
