Archibald has no known grave but is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial. He was killed in action at Sanctuary Wood. He was the son of William Doig, who came from Dundee to homestead (farm) NE23-18-3-W3 North of Parkbeg. Archibald took his own homestead at NW23 before enlisting in the Army.
