James Bertie 2461 4th Black Watch
WOUNDED MAN SUCCUMBS.
Mrs Bertie, who resides at 26 Paterson Street, Dundee, has received official intimation that her husband, Private James Bertie, 4th Black Watch, died of wounds in hospital on Sunday. Private Bertie was about 26 years of age, and enlisted at the outbreak of war. He was previously employed by Messrs James Paterson & Company, Lawside Works. Private Bertie was also wounded in the earlier stages of the war.
