Robert Buchan 923 Black Watch
Another death recorded yesterday was that of 923 Private Robert Buchan, of the 2nd Battalion Black Watch. Private Buchan, who was 25 years of age, was a member of the Indian Expeditionary Force, and died of wounds in the field hospital in France on 18th July. He is the second son of John Buchan, who resides at 9 North Wellington Street.

Robert was the brother of Cpl William Buchan, 11550, 1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, who was killed in action 08.03.1916.
