Mr John Buchan, 9 North Wellington Street, Dundee, has been notified that his son Corporal William Buchan, H.L.I., has been killed in action.  Corporal Buchan was 23 years of age.  Another son of Mr Buchan, Private Robert Buchan, Black Watch, died of wounds on 18th July of last year.

William was the brother of Pte Robert Rogers Buchan, 923, 2nd Battalion, Black Watch, who died of wounds, 18.07.1915.
