WORMIT BLACK WATCH MAN KILLED IN FRANCE.
Intimation was yesterday received that Private William Buist, 9th Black Watch, had been killed in action in France.
Private Buist was 19 years of age, and was a son of the late Mr John Buist, joiner, Woodhaven, Wormit. Previous to enlisting at Cupar shortly after the outbreak of war, Private Buist was serving his apprenticeship as a joiner with his grandfather, Mr W. Buist, Woodhaven.
