Gunner Albert E. Clarke, R.G.A., has been killed in action. He was a son of Mrs John Clarke, 24 Marine Place, Hawkhill, and had been in France for eighteen months. In civil life he was employed as a waiter. A brother is serving in the Royal Engineers.
