James is recorded on both C.W.G.C. & S.D.G.W. as James McPherson Stevenson but is listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour an in the Dundee War Memorial supplement of 1925 as James Coleman. He was the son of Mary A. McPherson Coleman (formally Stevenson) of 34 Fleuchar St, Dundee and the late Robertson Stevenson.
