William Conlin   203100  Essex Regiment

Private William Conlin, Essex Regiment, eldest son of  Mrs Conlin, 2 Urquhart Street, who was formerly reported missing on 20th November, 1917, is now officially reported to have been killed.  Deceased was nineteen years of age, and prior to enlistment was employed in South Dudhope Works.  He enlisted in the Lovat Scouts in January, 1916, but was later transferred to the Essex Regiment.  His brother John is serving in the A. and S.H.
