Robert has no known grave but is remembered on the Le Touret Memorial.
DUNDEE CORPORAL KILLED.
Mrs. J. Cummings, 7 Robertson Street, Dundee, has received official intimation that her son, Corporal Robert J. Cummings, of the 1st Black Watch, was killed in action on 9th May. A comrade in a letter stated that Corporal Cummings, after being wounded and while trying to get back to his trench, was hit again in the back. That was the last that was seen of him. Corporal Cummings was 22 years of age.
