David Davidson is listed in Deaths at Sea as being born in Dundee. He served onboard as the Engineer of the Sun VI for the latter half of 1915 and was engaged in the trade between Britain and the Continent. Prior to that he had been the Engineer of the Sun II. He died in the Victoria Hospital in Folkstone, Kent from meningitis.
