At the time that Andrew enlisted, his parents were living at 5 Glebe St, Dundee. Andrew had 2 brothers who also served during the Great War, they were, Pte David Millar/Miller 428601, of the 7th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, who was killed in action 26/09/1915 and Pte William Miller 75837, of the 29th Battalion, Canadian Infantry.
