David Stewart   M.M.  Black Watch

DUNDEE BLACK WATCH SOLDIER HONOURED.

Mrs David Stewart, 36 Arbroath Road, has been notified that her husband, Private David Stewart, Black Watch has won the Military Medal.  Private Stewart, who joined the army when war broke out, has been five times out in France and four times wounded.  In civil life he was in the employment of Messrs Mutter, Howey, & Co., contractors.  His two brothers, Joseph and Alexander, are also serving with the Black Watch in France, while another brother, George, is a member of the Military Police at Salonika.
