The only William Davidson Royal Flying Corps listed on C.W.G.C. is 2nd Lt, William Davidson, 10th Sqaudron, R.F.C. who died 31.10.1917 aged 29 and remembered on the Arras Flying Services Memorial. Son of Mrs D. Davidson, 55 Birchdale Rd, Forest Gate, Essex. Interestingly this man is remembered on the Scottish National War Memorial.

DAVIDSON―Previously reported missing after aerial combat over enemy’s lines on October 31, 1917, now officially reported killed on that date, Lieut. Will Davidson, R.F.C., aged 29, eldest son of the late David Davidson and of Mrs Davidson, 147 Claremont Road, Forest Gate, London, E., and nephew of Mr and Mrs G. J. Mitchell, Braeside, Lawside Road, Dundee.
