DUNDEE PETTY OFFICER DANGEROUSLY WOUNDED.

Mr and Mrs Watson, 29 High Street, Lochee, have received official intimation that their son, Petty Officer Donald Watson, of the Nelson Battalion, of the R.N.V.R., was dangerously wounded in action on 12th August.  Petty Officer Watson who is 24 years of age, joined the R.N.V.R. shortly after the outbreak of war, and was on active service at the Dardanelles.  Writing to his mother from hospital, he says:__” I am wounded, but hope to be home soon to ‘Blighty.’”  Before the war he was employed by Mrs Kennedy, Wellgate, Dundee, as a waiter.
