DOWNTON___At Dundee, on 9th August, the wife of Private Percy Downton, Black Watch, of a daughter.

MISSING DUNDEE SOLDIER REPORTED KILLED.
Mrs P. Downton, 21 Mains Road, Dundee, has received official intimation that her husband Pte. Percy Downton, Black Watch who was reported missing on 25th October, 1916, was killed in action on that date. Pte. Downton was 31 years of age, and prior to enlistment was employed as a tenter with Harry Walker & Sons, Limited, Caldrum Works, Dundee.
