More about Peter Duncan
There is no Peter Duncan, 644 listed on either C.W.G.C. or S.D.G.W. although the following appeared in the Evening Telegraph. There is a medal index card for a Peter Butchart Duncan, who initially served with the Highland Divisional Cyclists before being commissioned as a Lieutenant and serving with the Army Ordnance Corps. His address was listed as 3 Rockfield Tce, Dundee and it would appear that he survived the Great War.
Peter Duncan 644 Highland Cyclist Battalion
Peter Duncan the noted Forfarshire golfer, has joined the Highland Cyclist Battalion. It is hinted that other well-known sportsmen in the city are on the point of joining the colours.
