Thomas Duncan 7312 Black Watch
Official news has been received that Sergeant Tom Duncan, 2nd Black Watch, was killed in action in France on the 18th October. A reservist, he went to France at the outbreak of war, and was wounded. After recuperating he was sent to Salonika, and after twelve months was sent back to France again. He had 19½ years’ service, and was in his fortieth year.
