Alexander Gabriel   S/16756   Black Watch

Private A. Gabriel, Black Watch, was killed in France on 28th October.  He was the youngest son of the late James Gabriel, coal merchant, and husband of Johan Simpson.  Before enlisting he was a ploughman at Cransley.  His widow and four children reside at 19 Bernard Street.
