Alexander Halkett S/24083 Seaforth Highlanders
Pte. Alexander Halkett, Seaforths, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Halkett, 53 Ann St., died of wounds received on 19th July. He was 19 years of age, and had been three months in France. He was previously employed as a contractor. A brother has been serving with the R.F.A., for three and a half years.
