DUNDEE RAILWAY CLERK DIES FROM WOUNDS.
Official intimation has been received by Mr Thos. F. Hand, stationmaster, Esplanade Station, Dundee, of the death from wounds of his son, Pte. Ernest Hand, Gordon Highlanders. Pte. Hand, who was in his 21st year, was wounded on 23rd September, and died on 4th last.
He was born in Portobello, and prior to enlistment he was a booking clerk at Tay Bridge Station, Dundee. Mr Hand has another son serving with the Machine Gun Corps.
