Charles was the brother of Pte Alexander Holborn, 31293, 11th Battalion Royal Scots, who was killed in action, 05.04.1917.
Charles Holborn S/1858 Gordon Highlanders
Sergeant Charles Holborn, 8th Battalion Gordon Highlanders, has died of wounds in hospital at Boulogne. He was shot in the head, and lived for a week afterwards. He resided at 90 Kidd Street, Kirkcaldy, and was 25 years of age.
