John Grant Leitch   Machine Gun Corps

Information has been received by Mr and Mrs George Leitch, 6 Ruthven Place, Lochee, that their only son Private John Grant Leitch, Machine Gun Corps, has been posted as missing since 22d March.  Pte. Leitch attested under the Derby Scheme when he reached the age of eighteen, and was called up on 1st January last year.  He enlisted in the Cameron Highlanders, but was afterwards transferred to the Machine Gun Corps, with which he had been in France for almost nine months.
