John has no known grave but is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial.Son of Mr & Mrs Thomas Kinnear. At the time of his attestation he lists a Mrs D Kinnear of 11 Cardean St, Dundee as his next of kin. During his time in the Army he was sending $20.00 per month of his pay to a Miss M. Wishart, 48 Constitution St, Dundee.
