Alexander Lemon SS/8416 H.M.S. Terrible Royal Navy
LEMON___At Royal Naval Hospital, Gosport, on 5th inst., Alexander Lemon, O.S., aged 21 years, second son of Mr and Mrs Lemon, 14 Temple Lane.

Alexander Lemon was the son of Mrs A Lemon of 14 Temple Lane, Dundee and worked as a Shipyard Labourer. In May 1918 he joined the Royal Navy and was training in Portsmouth. He became ill whilst living onboard HMS Terrible, an obsolete cruiser used as an accommodation ship in Portsmouth. Alexander Lemon died from peritonitis after being admitted to the Royal Naval Hospital Haslar in Gosport, Hampshire. He is buried in the Dundee Western Cemetery and the Peoples Journal has a notification on 17 August 1918.
