Alexander Robertson Low 2518 4th Black Watch
Private Low, 4th Black Watch, who was 29 years of age, enlisted shortly after the outbreak of war. He had for some years been employed as a waiter in Lamb’s Hotel, and was a young man of a pleasant and obliging disposition. Private Low was one of the bomb-throwers of the battalion, and sustained serious injuries as a result of a bomb exploding. He leaves a widow and one child, who reside at Riverview, Tannadice, while his parents reside at 13 Annfield Row, Dundee.
