James McQuade   201590   Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

Private James McQuade, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, who has been killed in action, was 22 years of age and a son of Mr James M’Quade, 15 Lochee Road.  Private M’Quade was a reservist, and was mobilised on the outbreak of war.  He suffered from shell shock in 1915.  After recovery he was drafted to Egypt, where he was for two and a half years.  He was present at the capture of Jerusalem, and later returned to France with his division.
