DUNDEE SAPPER KILLED IN FRANCE.

Mr and Mrs Mechan, 19 Blackness Street, have received notification of the death in action on 8th November of their only son, Sapper John Mechan, Royal Engineers.  Sapper Mechan, who was 21 years of age, enlisted in the Royal Engineers in 1915, and had been in France for fourteen months.  In civil life he was employed as an apprentice with Scott & Son, glaziers, Bank Street.
