More about Alexander McLeod Moonie

Alexander McLeod Moonie   519998   Royal Engineers

From news which has just reached Broughty Ferry, it transpires that Sapper Alex M’L., Moonie R.E., whose wife resides in Union Street, was killed by a shell.  Sapper Moonie enlisted fully two years ago, prior to which time he was a joiner with J & P. Suttie, Broughty Ferry.  He was the second son of Mr John Moonie, church officer, Church Street.

Dundee Courier 29th October 1918
