There is some confusion James’ service number. Service No. is 2776 on CWGC, but 5776 on SNWM and National Archives medal card and 7756 on the City of Dundee WWI Roll of Honour index (ID No.2809).
Both C.W.G.C. website & S.D.G.W. data disc record this mans regimental No as 5776. Guardian of children listed as Andrew Reilly, 26 Kinloch St, Dundee.
