More about Ramon Diaz
Ramon Diaz was born in La Corunna in Northern Spain. His address was given as 25 Hurst Street, Liverpool in the Deaths at Sea records. He died in Dundee Harbour from a dislocation of the neck after a fall into his ship’s hold. He is recorded in the Dundee Seamen’s Roll of Honour because Dundee was where he died and in the hope that Dundee men and women who died or are buried elsewhere will be similarly recognized.
